This qualification is part of the Live Performance and Entertainment Training Package. It reflects the role of individuals working in the entertainment industry who are expected to apply theory and creative skills in a range of situations and to display initiative and judgement in planning activities. They have significant autonomy in performing complex technical operations and for making a range of business and production management decisions.

14 units: 8 core; 6 elective

Core: Develop, implement and maintain WHS management systems; Manage projects; Work safely in the construction industry; Work professionally in the creative arts industry; Realise productions; Incorporate creative and technical needs into management processes; Collaborate in professional creative projects; Develop and manage a budget. Electives: Establish and renew the business continuity management framework and strategies; Manage finances; Manage pre-production for shows and events; Establish, negotiate and refine a design brief; Design and construct costume corsetry and undergarments; Manage on-site event operations; plus more.
