Advanced Diploma of Management - Human Resources

TAFE NSW

This qualification is part of the Business Services Training Package. It is suitable for individuals who want to provide leadership and strategic direction in the human resources activities of an organisation. Participants would build upon their skills to analyse, design and execute judgements using wide-ranging technical, creative, conceptual or managerial competencies. This qualification will prepare participants to for oversee and take responsibility for group outcomes and for the overall performance of the human resources function of an organisation.

Course Fee:


International: $5,250

Entry Requirements:

2 years' work experience; plus degree or diploma in management or human resources or equivalent; or 4 years management or human resources experience

Structure:

8 units: 6 core; 2 elective

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Develop and implement diversity policy; Manage human resources strategic planning; Lead and manage organisational change; plus more. Electives: Plan and establish compliance management systems; Manage finances; Manage knowledge and information; Manage innovation and continuous improvement; Manage strategic contracts; plus more.

Study Pathways:

This course provides credit into the University of Canberra Bachelor of Management, Bachelor of Commerce (HR major) and Bachelor of Business Administration.

Further information:

Applicants who currently occupy a supervisory or management position; plus are currently employed in full-time or regular part-time employment with five years full-time work experience or equivalent are given preference. Selection will include consideration of relevant work experience and interest in the field of study.
