Certificate II in Automotive Body Repair Technology


This qualification is part of the Automotive Industry Retail, Service and Repair Training Package. It reflects the role of individuals who perform a range of tasks on vehicle bodies in the automotive retail, service and repair industry.

Entry Requirements:

Year 10 or equivalent plus relevant employment and apprenticeship arrangement


13 units: 5 core; 3 specialisation; 5 elective

Core: Read and respond to automotive workplace information; Work effectively with others in an automotive workplace; Follow safe working practices in an automotive workplace; Use and maintain tools and equipment in an automotive workplace; Follow environmental and sustainability best practice in an automotive workplace. Specialist: Auto Body Repair; Paint-Less Dent Repair; Automotive Painting; Automotive Trimming; Automotive Glazing; Automotive Dismantling; Automotive Detailing; Vehicle Body Assembling; Vehicle Tinting. Plus electives.
