This qualification reflects the role of individuals employed as nail technicians to provide manicure and pedicare services, including the application of nail art and acrylic and gel nail enhancements. These individuals possess a range of well-developed technical and customer service skills where discretion and judgement is required and are responsible for their own outputs. This includes client consultation on nail care products and services. A fee applies for most TAFE NSW courses and must be paid when you enrol. The amount you pay depends on the type of course you study, and on your personal circumstances. Incidental Expenses - All kits becomes the physical property of the student and will be retained by the student on completion of training. **ADDITIONAL RESOURCES** You will be required to purchase an advanced Nail Tech kit approx $500 to complete your Nail Technology course and allow you to practise clients/friends as part of learning requirements outside of class hours. The kit becomes the property of the learner. All consumables and basic nail tools are provided for you. You will also be required to purchase a tshirt $35.
