This course provides skills and knowledge required to establish and maintain maritime resource management procedures, leadership and team work in accordance with Australian and international regulations and guidelines.The unit applies to personnel responsible for controlling the operation of the ship and for the care of persons on board.The unit reflects the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping Manila Convention (STCW) including the Tables A-II/1, A-III/1, A-II/2 and A-III/2.
