Learn the foundations of ceramic studio art practice in a supportive and professional environment. Build upon existing wheel forming, design, mould making, hand forming, kiln packing and firing skills. You will refine technical and conceptual skills through a process of experimentation and practice. Teachers will demonstrate a wide range of specific techniques and skills so that you can further develop with clay. This course can be extended into a full year program as a series of four payment terms to give a full range of basic ceramics skills. On completion of the full year, students may articulate into the Diploma of Ceramics.
