Elementary English Language Skills


This course is for people from language backgrounds other than English who have extremely limited English. Students will learn how to listen, speak, read and write in English.

No minimum education

Use English to participate in elementary spoken exchanges; Listen and respond to elementary English texts; Read and respond to elementary English texts; Use English to write elementary texts; Organise personal learning environment; Identify own essential skills; Use maps and identify shapes in highly familiar contexts; Apply skills to read English script; Identify essential options for living in Australia; Use everyday technology; Apply skills for writing English script; Spell basic words.
