This qualification is part of the Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package. It is appropriate for an apprentice tradesperson working in the wall and floor tiling sector. Competencies covered may include use wall and floor tiling tools and equipment, fix floor tiles, fix wall tiles, carry out decorative tiling, tile domestic pools and spas, and carry out concreting to simple forms.

Entry Requirements:

Year 10 or equivalent; Admission may be on the basis of maturity and other relevant work experience

19 units: 16 core; 3 elective

Further information:

Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (SAC 2006) is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1001A covers this requirement.
