This qualification is part of the Creative Arts and Culture Training Package. It reflects the role of individuals who use wide-ranging analytical, technical, creative, conceptual and managerial skills in their chosen field in the music industry. Their knowledge base may be specialised or broad. These individuals are sometimes accountable for group outcomes.

15 units: 4 core; 11 elective

Electives: Provide instrumental or vocal tuition; Compose music using electronic media; Compose music for screen; plus more.

TAFE Queensland North is the result of an amalgamation between Cairns, Mount Isa and Townsville TAFE organisations. By harnessing the strong reputation each of these organisations have had in their communities, they are able to improve education and training to the great western and northern region of Queensland as a collaborative force.
