TAFE SA

This course aims to assist learners to develop language, literacy and numeracy competencies suitable for work and community. It provides pathways into other vocational education and training and gives learners access to accredited language, literacy and numeracy training.

Structure:

7 core units plus 4 electives.

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Use digital technology for simple workplace tasks; Use simple strategies for work-related learning; Identify and use whole numbers and simple fractions, decimals and percentages for work; Identify, measure and estimate familiar quantities for work; Participate in simple spoken interactions at work; Read and respond to simple workplace information; Write simple workplace information. Plus electives.

Students wishing to access WorkReady funding will be required to demonstrate satisfactory reading, writing and numeracy skills as part of course counselling before enrolling.
