This course will teach you a unique range of skills including aerial rigging, tree felling techniques, identification of species, complex tree climbing as well as how to develop maintenance programs.

You must be working in a related industry and provide evidence of this when you enrol.

14 core units plus 9 electives.

Core: Apply OHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry; Perform aerial rigging. Electives: Implement a tree maintenance program; Conduct tree inspections; Fell trees with advanced techniques; Undertake complex tree climbing; Install cable and bracing; Prepare and apply chemicals; Provide basic emergency life support; Work safely at heights; Identify plant specimens; Implement traffic management plan; plus more.
