This qualification is part of the Australian Meat Industry Training Package. It covers work activities undertaken by workers in meat processing plants who are working across a broad range of areas in the enterprise.

Core: Maintain personal equipment; Apply hygiene and sanitation practices; Comply with Quality Assurance and HACCP requirements; Communicate in the workplace; Follow safe work policies and procedures; Overview the meat industry. Electives: Break carcase using a bandsaw; Operate leg boning machine; plus more.
