This qualification is part of the Electrotechnology Training Package. It is for people working in the field of electrical engineering. The qualification provides enabling competencies to design and validate/evaluate electrical equipment and systems and provide technical advice/sales.

Entry Requirements:

Learners must either be in relevant employment or have access to appropriate workplace environments. Applicants should have a general education and competency level equivalent to the outcome of 4 - 5 years of secondary school.

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Use engineering applications software on personal computers; Manage risk in electrotechnology activities; Develop design briefs for electrotechnology projects; Write specifications for electrical engineering projects; Apply material science to solving electrotechnology engineering problems; Apply physics to solving electrotechnology engineering problems; Fabricate, assemble and dismantle utilities industry components; plus more and electives.
