This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to conduct environmental sampling, testing and monitoring in most industry sectors. You will also learn how to assist environmental scientists, engineers and planners with site assessment, minimising environmental impacts of processes and remediation/rehabilitation of sites. There are two pathways you can choose to study. The direct pathway into the Diploma will allow you to complete this course in 1.5 years and you will be awarded the Diploma only. The second pathway allows you to study the Certificate IV in Environmental Monitoring and Technology and the Diploma of Environmental Monitoring and Technology which you will complete over 2 years. Students in this pathway will be awarded both qualifications. Both pathways have the same entry requirements which is equivalent to Australian Year 12.

Entry Requirements:

IELTS score (academic) of 5.5 with no band score less than 5.0 or equivalent.

Credit may be granted towards this qualification by those who have completed Certificate II in Sampling and Measurement, or Certificate IV in Environmental Monitoring and Technology
