Bachelor of Pacific Studies
The Bachelor of Pacific Studies will provide students with an in-depth understanding of the cultural, social, geographic, linguistic and political contexts of this diverse region, so they can take a leading role in Pacific policy and development. Students will also will also have the opportunity to engage in internship and immersion programs in Oceania, boosting their language skills and expertise in the region. Students who have an interest in anthropology, archaeology, history, linguistics, politics, gender or cultural studies, will benefit from the regionally relevant framework that Pacific Studies provides. Graduates of the Bachelor of Pacific Studies find employment in Pacific policy and development.

Structure
The Bachelor of Pacific Studies requires the completion of 144 units
Entry requirements
- An Australian year 12 qualification or international equivalent
- OR A completed Associate Diploma, Associate Degree, AQF Diploma, Diploma, AQF Advanced Diploma, Graduate Certificate or international equivalent
- OR At least one standard full-time year (1.0 FTE) in a single program of degree level study at an Australian higher education institution or international equivalent
- OR An approved tertiary preparation course unless subsequent study is undertaken

Study Pathways
Credit will be granted for equivalent studies as appropriate at other universities or equivalent institutions. The College has flexible credit arrangements and up to 1/3 of the program (the elective sequence) may be granted as credit for prior tertiary studies.
