Structure
The Master of Philosophy requires the submission and successful examination of a thesis of up to 60,000 words on an approved topic. If approved the thesis may take an alternative form, such as a performance, experimental prototype and/or corpus of creative work.; Completion of a standard program for a Master of Philosophy requires a minimum of 48 units and a maximum of 96 units of enrolment in the research component.
Entry requirements
- An Australian Bachelor degree with an overall grade of distinction (high distinction is often required) or its international equivalent, or
- Another degree with a significant research/thesis component that may be assessed as equivalent to paragraph or
- A combination of qualifications, research publications and/or professional experience related to the field of study that may be assessed as equivalent to paragraph
