The School of Medicine and Psychology (‘the School’) in the ANU College of Health and Medicine (‘the College’) may offer an award known as the Tony and Michelle Clarke Grant (‘the Award’). Funding for this Award has been provided by Tony and Michelle Clarke to support a PhD candidate in the School of Medicine and Psychology. The objective of the Award is to support an outstanding domestic[1] or international[2] candidate to enable them to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy program in MEDI9910 in a field consisting of a significant clinical element, based in the School of Medicine and Psychology. [1] A student who is an Australian citizen, a New Zealand citizen, the holder of an Australian Permanent Resident visa or the holder of an Australian humanitarian visa [2] A student who is not an Australian or New Zealand citizen or the holder of Australian permanent resident status, and is required to hold a visa to study in Australia and liable for international student fees (ISF) payable to the University either by the student or a sponsor
Eligibility Requirements
The Award is available to a prospective or current (within 12 months of commencement) domestic or international ANU student who: is enrolled or enrolling full- or part-time for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in MEDI9910, based in the School of Medicine and Psychology (preference will be given to candidates planning to enrol full-time); and is a graduate in Medicine; and is undertaking research that has a significant clinical element.
