The scholarship aims to encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to undertake studies in pharmacy at university.


Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; provide evidence of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; and undertake a Nationally Accredited Pharmacy Assistant Training Course; and complete the training within two years from funding approval; and agree to the Program Rules.

Study at an honours level beyond the length of an undergraduate course is not covered by this Scholarship Scheme.

Amount $5,000

Scholarships have a value of $10,000 per student for the duration of training, with a maximum amount of $10,000 per student over a 2 year period.
