Master of Clinical Psychology

The Master of Clinical Psychology provides the training, skills and knowledge to let you practice competently and confidently in the psychology profession. Clinical psychologists promote optimal levels of psychological functioning to decrease levels of psychological distress. They have expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of a broad range of emotional and behavioural problems, including anxiety, depression, stress, substance addiction and abuse, adjustment to physical illness, relationship difficulties and learning disabilities. This 2-year full-time program provides in-depth knowledge and professional skills in clinical psychology through a combination of coursework, supervised practice and research. You will gain a foundation in the scientific basis and practice of clinical psychology and receive training in clinical practice, which employs evidence-based, best-practice models in health and mental health settings.
