You'll learn to work effectively in interprofessional teams to promote quality health outcomes through safe and effective nursing practice, in a program developed to meet the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia’s Registered Nurse Standards for Practice. Learn the latest theories and cutting-edge skills from experienced health and nursing professionals. You’ll benefit from an inquiry-based learning approach combining classroom-based study with clinical practice, helping you build strong clinical reasoning skills to provide safe, effective and high-quality care. Throughout the program, you'll undertake 840 hours of supervised clinical placements in a range of settings, including hospitals and a variety of healthcare organisations. Most of these clinical placements will take place at clinical partner sites across Brisbane and the broader metropolitan area.
