This course is comprised of three core units which provide important foundation knowledge in the principles of teaching and learning, assessment, evaluation and research methods in health professions education.In addition, students are required to select one elective unit of study as part of the Graduate Certificate course. The elective unit provides an opportunity to explore an area of educational interest in further detail.
Standard entry requirements
To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have—(a) a relevant bachelor's degree1, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA;or(b) a level and duration of health-related education and professional experience considered by UWA to be sufficient to permit satisfactory completion of the course.1A relevant bachelor's degree includes a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, and a bachelor's degree in a health, biomedical or biological sciences-related discipline.
