Master of Business Research

The Master of Business Research is designed to provide students with an advanced level of specialized knowledge and skills for research in the management, leadership, and commerce disciplines, with emphasis on recent and emerging developments in these fields. The course equips graduates with in-depth knowledge of a wide range of theoretical and empirical research methods, and enables them to contribute to the body of knowledge by completing an independent research project.

Structure

The Master of Business Research comprises five coursework units (6 credit points each) and a dissertation of between 30,000 - 40,000 words (60 credit points). To qualify for the degree, students must complete a total of 96 credit points.

Entry requirements

  • A Bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution with an average of at least 60%
  • A Bachelor (Honours) OR Master's degree
  • Applicants are to submit a brief description of their preferred area of research and the reasons for selecting it (500 words is sufficient).
