Diploma of Business (Event Management)
A Diploma of Event Management provides you with the business skills needed to run large-scale events. It builds a foundation of knowledge on producing creative and innovative concepts within business environments as well as the best ways to execute these projects. An event management degree qualifies you to find employment in managing major events or gives you a pathway for continued study at bachelor level. This event management course has been designed to provide you with a broad base of generalist skills and knowledge covering events, communication, marketing and management over eight core subjects. The course is available on campus or online so you can tailor your course to suit your lifestyle. Upon completion, you have the opportunity to move into a Bachelor of Business to earn a full event management degree.

Structure
This course comprises of 8 core subjects. Each subject involves 10 hours of study per week, comprising 3 hours of facilitated study and 7 hours self-directed study.
Entry requirements
- Year 12 (Australian secondary school certificate) or equivalent. OR Successful completion of a Vocational qualification (AQF Level 4 or above), or successful completion of a Higher Education qualification OR Work and life experience that demonstrates skills and knowledge gained through paid or unpaid employment, formal learning and/or non-formal learning (presented on a current resume with attached cover letter).
