This qualification is part of the Public Sector Training Package. It covers the competencies required for independent and self-directed work as a procurement and contract manager in the public sector. Electives should reflect the responsibilities of the individual and the job skills required for effective performance.

Entry Requirements:

Be currently working in the public sector; and have procurement and contracting competencies from the Certificate IV in Government - Procurement and Contracting OR demonstrate equivalent knowledge.

Elective: Plan market research; Manage projects; Apply public sector financial policies and processes; Develop organisation policy; Participate in budget and procurement review processes; Conduct and manage coordinated procurement; plus more.
