TransTrain

This qualification is part of the Transport and Logistics Training Package. It is a general qualification for the Warehousing and Storage Industry. It involves a range of tasks involving known routines and procedures, and taking some accountability for the quality of work outcomes.

16 units: 3 core; 13 elective

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Apply chain of responsibility legislation, regulations and workplace procedures; Follow work health and safety procedures; Complete workplace orientation/induction procedures. Electives: Manufacture pallets using manual methods; Clean and inspect pallets; Monitor plant and equipment in an environmentally sustainable manner; Undertake pallet repairs; Cut and join materials; Sell products and services; Maintain petty cash account; Prepare and process financial documents; plus more.

Established in 1996, TransTrain is a Registered Training Organisation located in Devonport, Tasmania. The provider offers services to the transport, logistics, construction, mining, tourism and associated industries. TransTrain also offers training, assessment and test only services for all classes of heavy vehicle driver licence upgrades and is an endorsed provider of the dangerous goods driver licence program. TransTrain also provides motorcycle and scooter licence training and assessment programs for both Learner and Provisional licences, through its Motorcycle and Scooter Skills Division.
