Bachelor of Engineering - Software (Honours)

The University of Adelaide

Students of this program study both the theory and practice of engineering principles and have a choice of electives enabling them to follow special interests in computing hardware and software. There is a focus on student understanding and mastering of the underlying principles and techniques of software engineering. Software engineering is a systematic and disciplined approach to developing software. It concerns the application of computer science and engineering principles and practices to the development and maintenance of high quality software, delivered on time and within budget. Consequently, graduates are able to learn and apply new technologies as they emerge in the future.
