This program is designed to provide broad training in science and agriculture. While the majority of the degree is based at the Waite campus, education in livestock production and the practical component of agronomy is based at the Roseworthy Campus. The Bachelor of Agricultural Sciences program, trains students in the physical, biological, technological and economic bases of modern agricultural systems. The program is designed to demonstrate how scientific and economic principles are applied to manage agricultural systems and the natural resources on which these systems depend. Graduates are highly sought after for positions in a range of rural industries including consulting in the livestock and cropping industries, banking and research as well as related areas in natural resource management.
