Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Environmental) / Bachelor of Arts

The University of Adelaide

Type of institution: University/Higher Education Institution
Level: Undergraduate
CRICOS: 00123M

This program equips graduates with a multidisciplinary skill-set. In this combined program, students study the concepts of environmental engineering and undertake an arts major of their choice. Students explore the connections between infrastructure, environment, society and the economy, in both the developed and developing world. And they learn an integrated approach to solving complex problems associated with water, energy, food, pollution, waste and natural hazards. With designated courses from both disciplines counted towards the combined degree program, the degree can typically be completed in five years (full-time), compared with seven years if undertaken separately. At the end of the combined degree, students will graduate with one parchment. Combining two areas of study offers graduates not only a more diverse experience at university, but also greater scope of career prospects.
