The curriculum explores the full spectrum of the biotechnology sector, spanning the discovery, research and development phases. Students will be exposed to a range of technology platforms, and develop highly competitive laboratory, research and project management skills. In addition, students will examine many of the contemporary issues related to biotechnology, including compliance and regulation, commercialisation and risk management strategies. Biomedical research and its applications are a key focus of the curriculum, particularly as they relate to career opportunities in the Asia Pacific region.
