This scholarship has been established by Professor Ashok Khurana to support the post-graduate education of an outstanding Indian student.
Eligibility
This scholarship is available to candidates who are Indian nationals who are not currently studying in Australia and/or residing in Australia on a Student, Bridging or any other visa. Candidates must be undertaking postgraduate coursework study leading to a Master’s Degree, or equivalent at the University of Adelaide in an area of benefit to India and its people, such as (but not limited to) Education, Agriculture, Health Services, Clean Technology, Environment, Aerospace and Resources (excluding studies related to the Military or Defence). Candidates must be able to demonstrate outstanding potential for leadership and particular academic merit. Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to academic merit, along with demonstrated leadership qualities and potential to significantly enhance India.
| Amount | $20,000 The scholarship is valued at $30,000, payable towards the recipient's airfares, living expenses and tuition fees. The successful applicant may also receive a 50% discount on the tuition fees for the duration of their program. |
