The Yakai (Kaurna meaning ‘help’) Bursary is a financial assistance payment which seeks to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in any program of study at the University of Adelaide.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be Australian Citizens of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent undertaking study as a Commonwealth supported student and must remain enrolled on a full time basis. Selection of the successful candidates will be made according to financial need and intended use of scholarship funds (i.e. an outline of how these funds will support your studies).
