This program enables students to combine a unique, multidisciplinary approach to the study of design disciplines with a strong professional and research foundation in the theory and practice of landscape design. Students will engage with the values, knowledge and skills central to the design and management of sustainable built environments and open space systems. Students will have the advantage of learning in and contributing to Australia's National Capital, Canberra - an internationally recognised exemplar of a designed landscape city. The Bachelor of Landscape Design provides an integrated, studio based program in which students develop their skills and knowledge in research-led, project oriented landscape studios. Graduates will be highly sought after in today's multidisciplinary landscape related design workplaces.

Entry Requirements:

Year 12 or equivalent; Assumed knowledge: Year 12 Mathematics and English; Alternatively, students may be selected for entry by portfolio and interview.

This course is a prerequisite for professional accreditation from the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA). Professional accreditation applies to graduates of the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Honours).
