This program is a balanced program of advanced practical production work and integrated analytical study. It provides students with sophisticated knowledge, skills and abilities to produce advanced creative works, and equips them to find work in the rapidly evolving field of front-end web design and development. The course takes an integrated approach covering html, CSS, Javascript, user interface, content management systems, accessibility, mobile, and emerging contexts for web technologies. The course emphasises creative production, ingenuity and adaptability in a dynamic cultural and industrial context. Prospective careers for graduates include web designer, front-end designer/developer, user interface designer, user experience designer, digital media designer, web manager/publisher, mobile designer/developer, digital media strategist, communications designer/manager.
