Awarded to financially disadvantaged students from a rural, regional or remote area

Eligibility

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree at the University of Canberra (part time study may be considered); have relocated from a rural area to undertake their studies; be willing to be profiled to promote scholarships offered by the UC Foundation; and attach a 300 word statement outlining how the financial assistance provided by the award would contribute to the advancement of their education and career ambitions.

Amount $3,000

The scholarship is valued at $3,000 for the first year of study, and is to assist with relocation expenses.
