The Graduate Diploma in Science is designed for students who have already completed a bachelor degree with one major, as well as first-year subjects in another area of science, which they’d now like to pursue for further study.

Structure

The Graduate Diploma is a 125-point course, with 14 available streams. You’ll complete 50 points of study at Level 2 or above (equivalent to second-year subjects in a bachelors degree), 50 points of study at Level 3 (equivalent to third-year subjects in a bachelors degree), 25 points of study at masters level.

Study pathways

Students will be allowed to apply for entry into the associated Master of Science program after completing the undergraduate component (100 points) of the Graduate Diploma. Students who then enter the Master of Science will be able to have two level 9 subjects cross-credited from their Master of Science back to their Graduate Diploma in Science in order to complete the Diploma.
