This program provides an understanding of financial management principles and their application to corporate financial policy. Graduates of the degree will have an understanding of Australian and international financial markets, knowledge of derivative assets and the operation of the markets in these assets, as well as various specialised aspects of the finance industry and the appropriate skills for analysing and interpreting developments in financial practice.

Entry Requirements:

An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent, with studies in Business Finance, Investments and Corporate Finance or equivalent; results of the GMAT or GRE unless exempt; personal statement.

The Master of Finance consists of 10 core subjects and 75 points worth of elective subjects.

Students who discontinue from the Master of Finance after having successfully completed the first year of the course will be eligible to receive the Graduate Diploma in Finance as an exit award.

GMAT/GRE exemptions apply if students have completed their entire undergraduate degree in Australia or New Zealand or if they fit into the 'humanitarian aid case' category.

Recognition:

This program covers 70% of all 3 levels of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge topics, the CFA Institute ethical and professional standards and other CFA Program Partner requirements.
