The Master of Primary Health Care enables students to undertake a major research project on a primary health care topic.
Structure
Candidates enrol in a thesis subject for the duration of the degree which is normally taken over 18 months full-time. All candidates are examined on the basis of their thesis (30,000-40,000 words) which is examined externally. A candidate will have appropriately experienced supervisor/s and an Advisory Committee who in consultation with the candidate, arranges a course of supervised research designed to suit the individual requirements and interests of the candidate.

- Three-year undergraduate degree, or equivalent, in a related area and an honours degree or postgraduate diploma in primary health care or relevant field with a weighted average mark of at least 75%, or equivalent
