Living and learning on campus

UNE remains one of the few universities to provide the complete on-campus experience, combining affordability, student support and community as well as the most extensive sporting facilities of any regional university in Australia. It's the way the university experience was meant to be.

Whether you want to immerse yourself in the college lifestyle throughout your degree, or for a short stay as part of your online study program, UNE has a range of stress-free and affordable accommodation solutions to suit your needs. As a resident, you will be conveniently located in the heart of UNE, close to classes, libraries, cafés and shops, SportUNE, and only minutes from the Armidale CBD. You will also have access to a diverse network and community, with plenty of academic and social support at your fingertips.

Many students studying on campus come via the UNE Early Entry program and can take advantage of a wide range of scholarship opportunities. Applications are submitted in September each year.

College accommodation

UNE’s residential accommodation currently consists of eight colleges and a village of self-contained units. Accommodation ranges from the more traditional college with meals included and shared bathroom facilities, to the more independent, self-contained flats at Wright Village and UNE’s new Wright College , which provides modern studio apartments complete with your own kitchen and bathroom facilities.
