Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Laws

University of New England UNE

This double degree provides students with the opportunity to combine their study of law with an area of interest drawn from a wide variety of the arts, humanities and social sciences. It thereby gives students a larger variety of career options. Studying law in conjunction with another discipline gives students the potential to take an interdisciplinary approach in both your studies and in your future employment. Students can study an arts major or extended major of their choice. The degree combines excellent communication and analytical skills with a solid foundation in law and has been developed in response to increasing student demand and employer preference for recruitment of double degree graduates.

Living and learning on campus

UNE remains one of the few universities to provide the complete on-campus experience, combining affordability, student support and community as well as the most extensive sporting facilities of any regional university in Australia. It's the way the university experience was meant to be.

Whether you want to immerse yourself in the college lifestyle throughout your degree, or for a short stay as part of your online study program, UNE has a range of stress-free and affordable accommodation solutions to suit your needs. As a resident, you will be conveniently located in the heart of UNE, close to classes, libraries, cafés and shops, SportUNE, and only minutes from the Armidale CBD. Many students studying on campus come via the UNE Early Entry program and can take advantage of a wide range of scholarship opportunities. Applications are submitted in September each year.
