Cec Spence Memorial UNE Country Scholarship

University of New England (UNE)

Through the Cecil Thomas Spence Charitable Trust, scholarships will be awarded to students commencing full-time, on or off-campus studies at the University of New England in an undergraduate course in the year following application.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be completing Year 12 or gap year(s) students who are commencing university study for the first time in the year following application; be aged 21 or under at the start of the academic teaching year; have already been admitted to UNE under the gifted and talented arrangements with the NSW Board of Studies; be Australian citizens or permanent residents as defined by the Commonwealth who have applied for admission to an undergraduate course at the University of New England; and received an ATAR of at least 86.30 (or equivalent). The applicant's residential address must be either regional or remote as defined by the Government. Remoteness Tool Preference may also be given to those applicants who are able to demonstrate financial.

Amount $7,500

The scholarship is valued at $7,500 for an initial 1 year period with prospective extension to full course duration subject to confirmation by the Trustee of ongoing provision of ongoing scholarship funding.
