The Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development Secretary's Scholarship seeks an outstanding and highly motivated continuing student enrolled in their honours year of any course at the University of New England and undertaking study in an area of interest to or consistent with the portfolio of the DIRD. Of particular interest are students enrolled in one of the following undergraduate courses: Bachelor of Agribusiness with Honours; Bachelor of Agricultural and Resource Economics; Bachelor of Economics with Honours.
Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents as defined by the Commonwealth; be entering the honours year of an undergraduate course at the University of New England; and have an average GPA of 5.0 or above. It is essential that the applicant's honours thesis is in an area of interest of the Infrastructure and Regional Development portfolio. Studies to date must have been completed in the minimum period of candidature applicable to the course.
The scholarship is valued at $5,000 for 1 year.
