Bachelor of Construction Management - Building (Honours)

This program is designed to prepare graduates for a range of careers in professional areas of construction including construction management, quantity surveying, facilities management and building surveying. The program uses problem based learning as a delivery mechanism for most courses. Students work under the guidance of lecturers, tutors and industry professionals.

Entry Requirements:

Year 12 or equivalent. Alternative entry pathways may include approved TAFE studies, preparatory programs such as Newstep, Open Foundation or Tertiary Preparation Certificate.

Structure:

In the Bachelor of Construction Management (Building) (Honours) program, students are required to complete a total of 320 units, of which 290 units are core courses, 10 units are directed courses and 20 units are electives. Students are required to complete a total of 16 weeks of relevant practical experience prior to commencing their final (fourth) year of study. A graded Honours classification is awarded on the basis of superior performance attained throughout the program.
