The Bachelor of Creative Industries allows you to tailor your studies with flexible course combinations and pathways. You can choose a single major, a double minor or a directed pathway where you get maximum breadth with a broader focus across study areas. The courses in our creative industries degree focus on digital literacies, social innovation, business capabilities and entrepreneurial activities. It is a three-year, interdisciplinary degree with a dual focus, combining a creative major with core courses that emphasise skills essential to entrepreneurial activity, such as: market analysis; project management; business models; stakeholder engagement. Opportunities to develop professional networks and work with a range of stakeholders and audiences has been built into the program.

Structure

  • Students complete 240 units (typically 80 units per year for three years). Students complete 120 units of Core Creative Industries Courses and either an 80 unit Major and 40 units of Electives
  • or two 60 unit Minors
  • or 80 units of Directed Courses and 40 units of Electives.
