Media and Communication is the cornerstone to psychology. Studying the combined Bachelor of Psychological Science/Bachelor of Media and Communication will prepare you with foundational knowledge in both areas and provide you with a broad skillset to be used in a variety of fields.   • Study courses in: psychological research methodologies, statistics, cognition and information processing, social psychology and personality, clinical and abnormal behaviour, forensic psychology, health psychology, neuroscience, perceptual processes, learning theory, developmental psychology.

Entry requirements

  • Admission to our undergraduate degree programs usually requires successful completion of a senior secondary school qualification similar to the Higher School Certificate (HSC), the highest educational award in New South Wales schools.

Recognition

Students receive accreditation through APAC in recognition of their high-quality education and working knowledge.

Study Pathways

Students who go on to complete an accredited Honours and postgraduate study in Psychology will be eligible for provisional registration as a psychologist.
