The Bachelor of Surveying (Honours) combines surveying expertise with emerging technologies in spatial data science, satellite positioning, remote sensing and digital mapping. Areas of study include
surveying principles, land and engineering surveying, satellite positioning (GNSS), geospatial technologies, digital mapping, remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), spatial data science and analytics, engineering fundamentals, mathematics, professional practice, industry projects, and practical fieldwork through on-campus field intensives.

Entry requirements

Eligibility for admission to this program is based on applicants meeting the minimum selection rank, or satisfying the requirements for an approved admission scheme.

Recognition

The Bachelor of Surveying (Honours) has been developed in consultation with industry, professional and regulatory stakeholders and has been designed to align with the current Council of Reciprocating Surveyors Boards of Australia and New Zealand (CRSBANZ) accreditation requirements. The University intends to seek accreditation through the formal CRSBANZ process following implementation of the program. Subject to successful accreditation, it is anticipated that accreditation may be applied retrospectively to eligible cohorts in line with standard accreditation processes.
