Graduate Certificate in Midwifery (Re-Entry to Practice)
If you’re a midwife looking to re-enter practice after being out of the industry for between five and ten years, our Graduate Certificate in Midwifery (Re-entry to Practice) is for you. You will be immersed in new and emerging trends in theoretical and practical midwifery and maternity care. You will engage with other health disciplines and provide quality midwifery services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, and for women with specific ethnic and other diverse needs, and their babies.

- Woman with complex pregnancies
- Woman with complex labours
- Woman with postnatal complexities and/or unwell babies
- Midwifery Professional Experience.
Entry requirements
- Completion of an AQF level 7 (or higher) Midwifery pre-registration degree
- and Current or previous registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a midwife but not having practised midwifery for a period of between 5 to 10 years.

This program is accredited by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) and approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).Graduates of this program are eligible to apply for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), under the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme administered by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
