Entry requirements
- Applicants must be a Midwife holding current unconditional registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). All applicants require a minimum of one year's full time (or part time equivalent) relevant experience across the full scope of midwifery practice, or in a specified context of midwifery practice. Work experience can be identified through: a detailed Curriculum Vitae, and a statement of service OR signed letters from employers confirming role, duties and period of employment.
Recognition
Graduates who have the required amount of practice hours may be able to apply for endorsement for scheduled medicines with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. This program is accredited by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council.
Study Pathways
This program also provides an entry pathway into the Master of Midwifery Studies (Primary Care). You will receive credit for the courses you have already completed.
