The Undergraduate Certificate in Languages offers students the opportunity to gain a strong grounding in a language other than English, or to be introduced to a range of languages. These include: Australian Sign Language Chinese French Indonesian Japanese The Undergraduate Certificate in Languages is available as a stand-alone qualification or as a concurrent enrolment alongside any undergraduate program.

Entry requirements
- To be eligible for admission to the program, applicants must have either: An unadjusted selection rank equivalent to 60 or above. This may be assessed on the basis of any qualification accepted by the University, which includes (but is not limited to) Australian or overseas senior secondary qualifications (eg HSC), prior tertiary studies, prior TAFE/VET studies, or completed enabling programs
- OR One or more years of full-time professional experience (or part-time equivalent) in a relevant field.
