Wendy Hyslop Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship was established to honour the memory of Wendy Hyslop. Wendy Hyslop was a dedicated clinical psychologist who had a passion for Psychology and helping people. Wendy worked in adult mental health services, in both the public and private sectors, and had experience in both clinical settings and within the University research and teaching setting. Wendy gave back to the community by providing clinical supervision to interns from the University of Newcastle and, in recent years, also provided peer and student supervision services. Wendy's family wish to honour her work and her name in this memorial scholarship which will assist students undertaking a Master of Clinical Psychology and who are also facing financial challenges.

Eligibility

Be commencing in the Master of Clinical Pscyhology program with UON in Semester 1 intake. Domestic student, educational disadvantage.

Amount $3,000

The scholarship is valued at $6,000 for 2 years of study, to be paid in 2 equal instalments of $3,000 following Semester 1 census date.
