The Graduate Certificate in Peace and Conflict Studies is a coursework program aimed at developing conceptual and empirical understanding and skill sets in research and knowledge development in the field of peace and conflict studies. Students will gain a basic understanding of how conflicts emerge and how they can be managed and solved in a nonviolent manner. Topics covered span from the local to the global and include issues such as peace and conflict studies theory, peace building, conflict resolution and prevention, and contested peace.
